Touch of Love Training for Horse and Rider
The Horse. Here is nobility without conceit, friendship without envy, beauty without vanity, a willing servant, yet no slave.
Supernatural Horsemanship. A man and a horse going someplace with a purpose.
Step 1. Send Horse Away
Establish Leadership and Partnership
Show Horse You are the Leader
God wants to talk to all of His creation, and He desires that we listen.
“Call to me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:3
Step 2. Horse Drops His Head
Let the horse communicate when he is ready to accept you as leader.
Establish who is the leader and who is the follower.

God wants to see by your actions what is most important to you.
“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow.” Philippians 2:10
“Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” 1Corinthians 10:31

Step 3. Horse Comes to You
The horse wants to be with you.
Both eyes must be on you, and he must remain calm in your presence.
We must keep our eyes on the Father to see what He is doing.
Jesus answered and said to them, “…I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what he sees the Father do…” John 5:19
“Show me your ways, O Lord; Teach me your paths.” Psalm 25:4
Step 4. Touch of Love
Prove to the horse that he can trust youóthat you will not hurt him.
Touch horse all over and pick up each foot before haltering.
We need to Trust in the Lord
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.” Proverbs 3:5-6
Step 5. Ask the Horse to Follow You
Test the horseís trust and respect.
Have horse follow you wherever you go.
We must choose to trust and follow Jesus
Jesus said, “Whoever desires to come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross, and follow me.” Mark 8:34
Step 6. Put Halter on Horse; Ask Him to Move
Ask the horse to respond, with respect to any task you ask him.
Have control of the horseís movements.

We need to be in communication with God at all timesóand willing to obey Him.
“And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Colossians 3:17

Step 7. Saddle up and Ride!
Ride for the Lord; for pleasure, for work or to compete in any kind of event.
Communication with the horse is both mental and physical.
God wants us to be so in tune with Him that He can guide each step we take.
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with my eye.” Psalm 32:8
“Jesus has become so real to me that when I communicate with Him I see the two of us riding together.” Steve Harris
The End!
